Hi Beautiful,
Mental Health Week is next week and we wanted to make sure you are ready for it. Almost half of all Australians aged 16 to 85 years — 7.3 million people — will experience mental health issues at some point in their lives. If you haven't had mental health issues yourself, no doubt someone you love has. So make sure you check in with a friend or neighbour to see how they are doing.
Often when we are overwhelmed, busy or stressed we forget to look after ourselves. Looking after your own wellbeing is important. Here are a few ideas:

Often when we are overwhelmed, busy or stressed we forget to look after ourselves. Looking after your own wellbeing is important. Here are a few ideas:
Practice Self Care
Choose something you love doing and do it every day. It may just be sitting in the sunshine for 10 minutes with the sun on your face instead of sitting inside. Or turning your phone on silent and soaking in the bath with a good book. Or catching up with a friend and having a good laugh. Whatever you love to do, do it. It's not indulgent. It's necessary.
Be kind to yourself.

Eat Well
Practice mindful eating. Don't skip meals and eat good food. Menu planning can be a great way to ensure you are eating regularly and not skipping meals.
Eat a balanced diet including lots of vegetables, fruit and drink plenty of water.
